It is considered to be fifth in number in the list of the largest desert covering most of the parts of southern Mongolia. The Formation of sand dunes are few if we compare it with other deserts, but large rocky outcrops and barren expanses of gravel plains can be easily seen here. Where is it located?
Gobi desert is located in the parts of southern Mongolia and also in northern China.
